Apple, Celery, Carrot & Ginger Smoothie

Serves 1- 2

Low Histamine

Ingredients

1 green apple, cored and chopped (small to medium-sized for less sugar)

2 celery stalks, chopped

1 medium carrot, peeled and chopped

1/2 tsp fresh ginger, grated (or a pinch of ground ginger)

1/2–3/4 cup water or coconut water (adjust to your desired consistency)

Optional: Stevia or a small amount of honey (only if tolerated) for sweetness

Method

Prepare the Ingredients:

- Wash and chop the apple, celery, and carrot.

- Grate the ginger finely to release its flavor.

Blend the Smoothie:

- Add all ingredients (apple, celery, carrot, ginger) into a blender.

- Pour in the water or coconut water.

- Blend on high until smooth and creamy. If it’s too thick, add a little more water to reach your desired consistency.

     

Serve:

- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes & Tips

- Green apple is a great low-histamine option. If you find it too tart, you can balance with a small amount of honey or stevia.

- Fresh ginger provides a nice warming spice and helps with digestion. If you prefer a milder taste, you can reduce the amount of ginger or use ground ginger.

- Carrots and celery are both gentle, fibrous vegetables that support digestion and provide vitamins and minerals without histamine concerns.
